Wetherby Racecourse
The racecourse is located in the market town of Wetherby which is just over 10 miles from the busy northern city of Leeds. It is the only racecourse in Yorkshire that only hosts National Hunt meetings.
The oval shaped course is thought of as fair flat course that wil suit jumpers that are long-striding.
The course hosts around 10 meetings per year with standout races being the grade 2 Charlie Hall Chase which is held in October on the same day as the other major race the West Yorkshire Hurdle Race which is also a grade 2 event.

Jumps: Left-handed, oval shaped course, chase course of a mile and a half with easy bends, sharp inner hurdles track. Nine fences per circuit, four in final straight, slightly uphill run-in of about 190 yards.
