Navan Racecourse holds both flat and national hunt meetings. The course is a left-handed oval that is one mile and two furlongs in length and undulating that has a stiff uphill climb to the finish line. The track consists of 7 hurdles and 8 fences.
The racecourse holds 16 meetings all year round, the principal races here are the Navan Novice Hurdle a grade 1 race that is held in December each year. Another key race is a listed race held in April the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Salsabil Stakes.
