The course situated in the market town of Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire. The flat racing course is a right handed oval course which is one mile and three furlongs that includes an uphill run in of a quarter of a mile. Racing has been taking place at this venue for over 300 years, thankfully however it has been modernised several times and has some excellent facilities.
The course plays host to 20 race days throughout the year with notable racings being the Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes, the Hilary Needler Trophy which is a listed race for 2 year old fillies and the Rapid Lad Handicap which is race created to celebrate Rapid Lad who won 12 races at this course.
High numbers have a draw advantage here in races that are up to one mile in duration that are also on soft ground, the course also has its tough uphill run which can prove very difficult for horses with poor stamina levels.
Trainers that do well on this course are Richard Fahey who is based in nearby Malton, top jockey’s at this course are Paul Hanagan and Neil Callan.

Flat: Right-hand, oval circuit of one mile three furlongs. The five furlong course, with a slight bend halfway, rises steadily throughout and is a stiff test. There is a straight run-in of nearly half a mile.
Road: via the A1079 York to Hull road Parking: Car Park - Picnic Car Park #5 per car and #5 (OAP's £3) per occupant. Main car parks free.
